HOUSTON (May 25, 2012)—AEG Facilities-managedBBVA Compass Stadium (www.bbvacompassstadium.com), home of Major League Soccer team Houston Dynamo, has partnered with Bypass Lane (www.bypasslane.com) to offer fans and patrons a solution for ordering food and beverages from the comfort of their seats. The ground-breaking technology will be offered to guests in Club and Field seat areas of the stadium. Bypass Lane will allow soccer fans to order and pay for concessions on their Smartphones so they can skip the line, not the game. Bypass Lane went live at the Dynamo’s home game against D.C. United on Saturday, May 12th.   As an added incentive to try the system, the Dynamo are offering a $5 registration credit to the first 500 people who sign up online at www.bypasslane.com.

BBVA Compass Stadium and the the Houston Dynamo are implementing Bypass Lane to ensure their fans no longer miss crucial game-changing moments due to long concession lines. Additionally, the service will allow the stadium to streamline the ordering process and add point of sale opportunities. Bypass Lane is currently being offered as an in-seat delivery service, enabling ticket holders to both place and receive orders straight from their seats.

“We are excited to offer this technology to our premium customers,” said stadium General Manager Doug Hall. “Soccer is so action-packed, that enabling them to order food without leaving the seating area is a big incentive. We will also be able to learn more about our customers and provide them items they want to take advantage of.”

After launching in July 2010, Bypass Lane has steadily become the industry leader in mobile ordering solutions, available in MLB, MLS, NFL, NBA, NHL and NCAA venues across the country, including the Texas Rangers, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Coyotes, Carolina Hurricanes and the University of Texas, among others.

“Bypass Lane is thrilled to establish a presence in the Houston sports market by going live in BBVA Compass Stadium. This is our first installation in Houston and our second Major League Soccer team venue. BBVA Compass Stadium is improving the fan experience at Dynamo games by eliminating the need to stand in long lines to enjoy concessions and reducing the likeliness of missing an exciting moment,” said Bypass Lane President Brandon Lloyd. “We are glad to extend the benefits of our service to the Dynamo’s loyal fan base and we hope to continue expanding our service in the Houston area, as well as to more MLS teams across the country.”
