BBVA Compass Stadium and Houston Sports Authority Announce 100 Days until 2014 Transplant Games of America

BBVA Compass Stadium, an AEG facility, along with Team Texas, and Houston’s Local Organizing Committee announce the 100 Day Countdown leading into the Opening Ceremonies for the 2014 Donate Life Transplant Games.  The games kick-off with the Opening Ceremonies on Saturday, July 12th at BBVA Compass Stadium.

The Transplant Games of America® is a biennial event held in the United States to recognize the tremendous accomplishments of individuals whose lives have been affected by eye, organ, and tissue donation.  This festival-style event brings athletes, living donors, donor families, as well as members of the amazing medical community involved in transplantation together to promote awareness of the life-changing impact that donation represents today. 

Interested participants can register at the transplant games website. Fans who would like to cheer on competitors may purchase walk-up tickets on the day of event.
